Speech 2019 - How to get a day off school...

This term we had to slowly write a speech and my teacher told me to do it about faking sick. So I did, with a little research I found out how. Then this speech was written, tinkered with by many of my friends and now it is on this blog post. Tairawhiti Museum

On June 4th, Turanganui headed to the Tairawhiti Museum and C Company to learn about Gisborne history, who came to Gisborne first and which waka they came on. In the C Company building we learnt more about the 28th Maori Battalion. I enjoyed learning about our ancestors and found the timeline and the maori challenging. This blog post shows I am a Smart Learner.

Heritage Trails Screencastify

Moment in time: Endeavours Arrival

This is some work we had to do. We had to write a moment in time about Endeavour's arrival to Gisborne. I got the information and the maori translations from walking the Tupapa heritage trail. The hardest part was writing the maori to make it correct with the english and making it fit into canva while still being able to read it.

Famous New Zealander

This is some more Manaiakalani work we had to do. We had to choose a famous New Zealander, get a photo of them, 3 facts about them and write about why you chose them.

This is some Kawa of Care work we did at the start of the year. I never got around to posting it so I am now. It's about looking after your devices and what to do to keep your identity safe.
